Molnija MOLNIYA pocket watch
MADE IN USSR!
Manufactured at the Chelyabinsk Watch Factory “Molnija”, USSR.
The watch is mechanical and does not need batteries to operate.
Original Soviet “Molnija” has mechanical lever movement and manual winding.
Brushed copper dial with black Arabic numerals, a railroad minute track and blued hands. The small seconds subdial at 6 is a deeper copper with a concentric finish and carries a small mark next to the 30.

About the watch factory
The factory stopped making consumer watches in October 2007 but carried on building aviation and technical clocks; pocket watch production resumed in 2015, and the company still operates in Chelyabinsk.
Besides the Molnija pocket watches, the factory also made the Ural wristwatch from 1956.
