Soviet quartz Slava wrist watch on its integrated steel bracelet, with box & passport
MADE IN USSR!
Slava quartz watch with a smoky brown-grey sunburst dial, faceted hour studs, a dotted minute track and a white “comb” chapter ring set on a dark grey flange with silver baton markers. The bezel ring is notched at 12 and 6.
Lovely vintage watch made by the 2nd Moscow Watch Factory, USSR.
The dial is signed in Russian – “Слава”, “КВАРЦ” (quartz) and “СДЕЛАНО В СССР” (made in the USSR). The passport describes it as a Slava 3056A quartz watch “в корпусе-браслете” – a case and bracelet made as one piece. The case is chrome-plated, with a stainless steel case back stamped “ВОДОНЕПРОНИЦАЕМЫЕ” (water-resistant) and the number 320729.
The original passport carries the factory release date of 25 February 1985, and the watch number 320729 handwritten in it matches the number on the case back.
The watch is quartz and runs on a single 1.5 V button-cell battery.
Original Soviet Slava watch with quartz caliber 3056A, an analogue quartz movement with a stepping motor, stamped “3056A” with the 2nd Moscow factory logo on its bridge. According to the passport the 32,768 Hz quartz movement is rated to ±2 seconds a day, and one battery lasts at least 24 months. It shows hours, minutes and a centre seconds hand.

CONDITION REPORT
The dial and hands are clean. The chrome case is in good order. There are light marks on the acrylic crystal, scratches and dark marks on the case back, light wear on the bracelet and a few small pits on the end links. Inside, there are traces of old oxidation around the solder points of the circuit board. The passport is aged and folded, with a small hole near the retail price box. All visible in the photos.
This watch has recently been serviced by a professional watchmaker and keeps good time.
Comes complete with its original box & passport (numbers match), on its original integrated steel bracelet.

The Slava factory (known originally as the Second Moscow Watch Factory) was the second non-military watch maker established in the Soviet Union, in 1924.
The watches of this brand have always been meant for civilian consumption, without military or aerospace pretensions. As of today the factory no longer produces.
