Vintage Soviet stainless steel watch bracelet with «МИРУ – МИР» (Peace to the World) buckle
MADE IN USSR!
The buckle cover is stamped with a Kremlin tower on one side and the dome of the US Capitol on the other, with a globe between them and the words «МИРУ – МИР» (“Peace to the World”) across the top. The links are ribbed and decorated with small stars.
The inside of the clasp carries the original Soviet factory stamping «НЕРЖ СТАЛЬ» (stainless steel), «АРТ-ТГ-38» and the fixed state retail price «Ц 7р50к» (7 roubles 50 kopecks).
Condition: pre-owned, very good. Light surface marks from use, the relief on the buckle is crisp – see photos.
