Beautiful dress watch for ladies, manufactured by the Kyiv Watch Factory “Kleynod”, 🇺🇦 Ukraine, for the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
The pearlescent mother-of-pearl dial carries the emblem and name of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (Пенсійний фонд України), framed by two brackets of clear crystals with gold-tone applied 12 and 6. More crystals run down both sides of the gold-tone rectangular case. The case back is engraved with the state coat of arms of Ukraine and the words “From the Chairman of the Board of the Pension Fund of Ukraine”, which marks it as a presentation gift from the Fund’s chairman.
The watch has quartz movement and operates on a single battery.

CONDITION Good pre-owned condition. Clean dial, all crystals in place. Fine hairline scratches on the polished case back and a small nick on the case-back rim (see photos). The leather strap is creased and lightly scuffed at the ends.
This watch has recently been serviced by a professional watchmaker and keeps good time.
Comes as a full retail set, with its box, passport and leather strap included!

The origin of the brand
The name of the trademark Kleynod derives from the German word Kleinode and Polish word Kleinote meaning treasure. Kleynods are special signs of state power, symbols of the power of the hetmans of Ukraine.
Kyiv Watch Factory is the first and only Ukrainian enterprise engaged in serial production of watches. It was founded in 1997 in Kyiv.
