This is a gold-plated Citizen pendant watch from March 1973, built around Citizen’s hand-wound 21-jewel 6700-family calibre. The champagne dial has a fine matte finish rather than a sunburst, and it is beautifully restrained — applied baton markers, a slim handset, a thin sweep seconds hand, and just “CITIZEN” and “21 JEWELS” across the face, with no date to interrupt the design. A two-line printer’s mark sits at the foot of the dial, too small to read cleanly in the photos. The round, open-faced case hangs from a hinged bail ready for a chain, and the crown at the top winds and sets the watch. Inside, the movement plate is signed “JAPAN CITIZEN 21 J.”; the inside of the case back is stamped “ANGF”, “CITIZEN”, the reference 4-672097-K and the serial 30300636, which dates the case to March 1973. It is a small, elegant piece — a genuine mechanical watch made to be worn as jewelry rather than on the wrist.
