The name of the watch “Chaika” (means “seagull”) – the nickname of  Valentina Tereshkova – the first woman in space.

The trade mark ‘Chaika’ is on the dial.

 

The watch has quartz movement and operates on a single battery.

 

Original Soviet “Chaika” has quartz lever movement.
