The name of the watch “Chaika” (means “seagull”) – the nickname of Valentina Tereshkova – the first woman in space.
The trade mark ‘Chaika’ is on the dial.
The watch is mechanical and does not need batteries to operate.
Original soviet “Chaika” has mechanical movement on 17 jewels with manual winding mechanism.
