This is a classic, super thin wristwatch “Ray” (Luch).
The watch is mechanical and does not need batteries to operate.
This watch has original Soviet 2209 mechanical lever movement and manual winding.

This watch has recently been serviced by a professional watchmaker and keeps good time*.
*Note: fitted with a new (replacement) dial, so technically it is not fully original – therefore in the custom builds category
Comes complete with new Nagata leather strap.
Medical watches are popular with physicians and nurses, they feature pulse scale on the dial.
To get the pulse reading you wait until the seconds hand reaches 12 or 6 o’clock, and then you count 15 heart beats – the seconds hand will point to the number.
