Vintage soviet MIR slim mechanical wrist watch
MADE IN USSR!
The Mir brand (Мир, meaning “world” or “peace”) was introduced in 1957. This line of watches debuted the caliber 2209 movement, an enormously successful 18-jewel caliber which would go on to power millions of Chistopol watches, from the most elegant dress watches to the most hardy divers.
The watch is mechanical and does not need batteries to operate.
Original soviet “Mir” with mechanical lever movement and manual winding.
