Vintage Soviet Military ID Watch Bracelet – Stainless Steel
This is an authentic piece of Cold War-era militaria: a stainless steel watch bracelet designed for personal identification. These bracelets were iconic among Soviet personnel, often serving as a soldier’s unofficial “dog tag” during the conflict in Afghanistan and other regional deployments.
Key Features
- Identification Ready: The central buckle features three distinct horizontal lines, specifically designed for a soldier to have their Name, Surname, and Patronymic professionally etched or hand-scratched.
- Medical Designation: One side of the buckle is stamped with “AB(IV)Rh(i)”, indicating the wearer’s blood type (Type O Positive). In the Soviet medical system, Roman numerals were used alongside the AB0 system.
- Military Aesthetic: The links are accented with embossed stars, a classic symbol of the Soviet Red Army.
- Construction: Durable, flexible stainless steel links with a fold-over clasp. It is designed to fit standard vintage Soviet watches (such as Vostok, Raketa, or Poljot).
