This year also marks the creation of the well known Komandirskie (&#8220;Commander&#8217;s&#8221;) watch.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The experience gained through development of the army watch led to the Amphibia, a stainless-steel watch able to withstand a 200 metre depth (20atm).<br \/>\nWatches sold to the military were marked &#8220;\u0417\u0410\u041a\u0410\u0417 \u041c\u041e \u0421\u0421\u0421\u0420,&#8221; meaning &#8220;Ordered by the Ministry of Defence of the USSR.&#8221; These models were sold exclusively through Voentorg stores, which catered to military personnel with identification only. \u00a0Today, these models have become sought-after collectibles.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The watch is mechanical and does not need batteries to
